deugro showcased its role in the UPM Taurus project in Uruguay, handling 174 OOG items; Drewes Logistics was shortlisted for its project transporting 13,000 freight tons of cargo destined for the Shell DLNG project in Germany; J M Baxi Heavy for the delivery of five oversized cargoes; Kestrel Liner Agencies for the transport of a complete factory from China to Alloa, Scotland; Prism Logistics for the transport of 34 over-dimensional pieces from Hazira, Dahej, and Mangalore to Rajasthan; Rock-It Global for its involvement in setting up the MDLBEAST Soundstorm music festival in Saudi Arabia; Trans Global Projects for the multimodal shipment of 1,582.69 tonnes of cargo for the Araguaia project in Brazil; and UTC Overseas for the transport of the heaviest cargo ever mobilised on Colombian roads for the El Tesorito power plant.
CJ ICM emerged as the frontrunner due to the complexity and scale of its project delivering major components for a chemical complex in Uzbekistan, handling 61 heavy lift items originating from around the world, covering the ocean carriage, transhipment operations, barge transportation, transit clearance services as well as a complex overland transport leg. Our judges said that its entry provided an ideal example of a multimodal turnkey project, showcasing the industry in all the best ways.
