Matthias Reinarz has been appointed managing director for Svitzer in the Dominican Republic and Caribbean, effective June 1, 2021.
He replaces Dickson Rivas, who will retire at the end of the year. Rivas will remain available as special advisor until he leaves the company.
Svitzer has been present in the Dominican Republic and Caribbean islands since 2010 through a joint venture with Remolcadores Dominicanos, with 23 vessels servicing ten operations.
