Nick Beauchamp has been elected as vice chair for the Customs policy group at the British International Freight Association (BIFA).
Beauchamp, director of global Customs for DSV, has been a member of the key policy group since 2019, playing an active role in discussions and connecting with the government during this period.
Previously director of Customs and security for the UK and Ireland at DSV, his background comprises the management of Customs compliance, security and procedures, liaising with colleagues and customers alike to ensure that there are no complications in the supply chain.
“I have been a member of BIFA for many years, liaising with industry members as the changes in customs and excise requirements evolve year on year. It is an honour to be part of the BIFA Customs policy group and I look forward to contributing alongside the BIFA members, HMRC and other government departments,” said Beauchamp.
